Say hello to the all-new 2023 Volkswagen ID. Buzz, the latest new Volkswagen electric vehicle and one of the most exciting new models to the market in recent memory. It is based on the iconic Volkswagen EuroVan and you can see that the first time look at its unique design.

Buzz concept that was introduced to the market a few years ago had automotive enthusiasts very excited, and to see production model and notice how it has many of the elements of the original concept and how closely it is inspired by the original Volkswagen EuroVan is certainly exciting too.

The all-new 2023 Volkswagen ID. Buzz is coming to North America, and it should be here sometime next year. We don't have all of the details just yet on the new ID. Buzz as Volkswagen didn't confirm the horsepower or range numbers. That said, we do know that the all-new Volkswagen ID. Buzz will be built on the Volkswagen MEB platform which was designed exclusively for electric vehicles.

That means that it should offer a relatively powerful electric powertrain with over 200 hp and 229 pound-feet of torque. We expect the battery to be an 82-kWh unit just like the all-new Volkswagen ID.4. We also expect the 2023 Volkswagen ID. Buzz to offer over 500 km of range in some versions.

The new Volkswagen ID. Buzz will feature two rows and five seats in its initial version, but a three row model is also on the way. Ultimately, the new generation of the Volkswagen ID. Buzz will offer the same versatility and go-anywhere functionality of the original VW Microbus, but with an electrified powertrain and a modernized design.
