The Atlas Cross Sport provides the choice of two capable engines. The Trendline and Comfortline receive a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that produces a robust 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This most common engine in the lineup, it is more powerful than some of its major competitors. The Execline and Comfortline (optional) trims feature a 3.6L six-cylinder engine that generates 276 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque.
All trims receive AWD, an advanced eight-speed automatic transmission, start/stop system with regenerative braking, speed-sensitive power steering, Driving Profile Selection and electronic parking brake.

The Atlas Cross Sport offers more room than several of its competitors, and it is 104mm longer than the Chevy Blazer. This results in additional space dedicated for cargo and passengers.
